hi, i’m uday.

hi, i’m uday.

i’m just a guy who loves building things — especially where data, ai, and real-world impact meet.

currently, i’m at the united nations development programme, where i’m developing ai-driven tools to support digital policy across 50+ countries. this includes automating policy recommendation systems using custom LLM pipelines, building dashboards to track readiness metrics, and delivering insights at scale for decision-makers.

i worked as a devops engineer at maq software, where i helped optimize crm systems for 50,000+ stakeholders, built internal automations, and shipped analytics dashboards across multiple teams.

prior to this, i’ve worked on machine learning models for cancer prediction at yale, built demand forecasting tools that helped prevent €1.5M in losses at clarks, and led end-to-end delivery of multiple freelance and internal transformation projects — from analytics systems to full-stack apps.

on the side, i’ve built several products — the most recent is applymate, a chrome extension that rewrites your resume for any job post. what began as a personal tool has grown into something a hundred of users rely on weekly.

i’ve also shipped an ai document reviewer for teams handling large-scale m&a transfers, nest (mac app) that sets your desktop vibe based on your mood, a bias-tracking ai news app that compares perspectives across indian media outlets.

my work spans data systems, applied ai, and product thinking.

i care about building systems that scale, products people actually use, and teams that ship.
